ASTIG- The Enduring Sakada Legacy

Join the community in honoring and celebrating the life and legacy of the sakada workers who came to Hawaii to work in the sugarcane and pineapple fields and processing mills. The event will feature the historical and cultural journey of the sakada through music, dance, and re-enactments.
