    Join us for our Spring Program's opening workshop: The Rondalla Workshop, where you'll discover the beautiful art of playing traditional Filipino string instruments.

    Led by Dr. Marie Jocelyn U. Marfil, Hawaii Rondalla Music Director & University of Philippines Rondalla Artistic Director, this workshop promises an authentic cultural experience.

  • Tinikling Dance Workshop

    Join us for an exciting bamboo stick dance workshop led by Gabriel "Gabe" Torno, Cultural Instructor and Founder of TekniqlingZ! Learn the Philippines' most iconic traditional dance reimagined for today's generation.

  • Filipino Folk Song Workshop

    Children, Teens, and other participants will be introduced to three songs of the Philippine archipelago. Singing folks songs is one way for Filipino Americans to begin to learn about culture, language, and history in a fun setting. Starting in March, six sessions will be conducted virtually with the aim for the group to joyfully sing the songs at a public recital.

    Perfect for children, teens, and anyone interested in Filipino musical heritage!

    Visayan Folk Dance Workshop

    Learn authentic dances from the Visayan Region - from the rhythmic Sinulog dance and romantic Kuratsa to the graceful Pandanggo sa Ilaw. Experience the stories of daily life, courtship, and celebrations told through movement and music. Led by Ray Rausa, former dancer of the prestigious Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance Company.

    Six Sessions:
    March 4, 11, 18, 25 & April 1, 8
    5:00-8:00 PM
    All ages and experience levels are welcome! Limited to 20 participants.
